On June 11 - 15 the high level international symposium “Bilingualism, Multilingualism and the New Speaker” took place in the University of Limerick, Ireland bringing together over 900 participants from all around the world.
Sigita Struberga and Aleksandra Kjakste, PhD students of Department of Political Science at the University of Latvia also took part in it. They both presented the report “Russian- Speaking Youth in Latvia: a part of inclusive society or future generation of marginals?” in one of the conference panels. The report was prepared on the basis on the article with the same title and is considered as a one of results of the both researchers activities within the framework of the EEA project "Mobility in Political Science and Sociology" (EEA / NFI / S / 2015/024). The article was mainly prepared during their stay in the Oslo and Akershus University College in Oslo, Norway last year.
