Thanks to the EEA and Norway Grants’ scholarship programme, the project "Mobility in political science and sociology" (EEA / NFI / S / 2015/024), Kristine Vibane was able to go for a study practice in Oslo and Akershus Univeristy College of Applied Sciences, Norway.

My aim and interest during my stay in Oslo was to analyze concepts "integration" and "health literacy", as well as to gain insight into the health and welfare systems of Norway and available support measures for the persons with disabilities.
During the mobility I was able to carry out an extensive desk study using library recourses and electronic databases of Oslo and Akershus Univeristy College. I conducted interviews with health and social policy experts, home care providers, stroke survivors and stroke survivors’ organization. In addition to my direct mobility aims I was able listen to a lecture, made by prof. Harald Koht, on Norwegian Government and Politics, thus gaining insight into the Norwegian history and public administration, as well as attend a course on statistical data analysis methods in SPSS.
I am pleased for the opportunity to participate in this mobility program. This experience not only gave me possibility to carry out in-depth research, but also extended my knowledge about Norwegian culture and allowed to meet other researchers on the field with whom joint cooperation projects can be developed in future.
