Department of Political Science Strengthens Ties with Universities of Ukraine

In April Lecturer of the Department of Political Science Sigita Struberga had a visit in Kiyv. It was realised within the project “Training program of Ukrainian young professionals in University of Latvia – Spring School “EU studies – internal and foreign affairs”” financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia.

Riga Summer School 2018 Welcomes Applications

Call for applications for participation in Riga Summer School 2018 is now open. The Department of Communication Studies of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Latvia organizes this international summer school for students from all over the world in the Latvian capital from August 5 – 18, 2018, focusing on “Content Production for Digital Media”.
Some scholarships are available for students for participation in Riga Summer School 2018.
The application deadline is 23:59 on May 21, 2018.

Annual discussion on reforms in Ukraine- opportunity to expand collaboration between future professionals

The annual discussion about challenges and prospects for development of Ukraine was held in 4 April with more than 30 future professionals from Latvia and Ukraine in the fields of social sciences and law. The discussion brought together undergraduates of Department of Political Science and Spring School’s students representing Department’s partner universities from Ukraine.
